Four years after his last fight, light heavyweight Oleksandr Gvozdyk will be ducking through the ropes once again. The former 175-pound champion from Ukraine is coming out of retirement this Saturday to take on Argentina's Jorge Daniel Miranda in a six-round light heavyweight bout at The Derby Room Pomona at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif.

Although he lost to Artur it was very, very competitive. IF his mind is right he’s no less than #3 at LHW with his boxing ability & power .. let’s see how he looks ..

"when he defeated arguably the greatest light heavyweight of the 2010s in Adonis Stevenson" ROFLMAO. One of the greatest cherry picking ducks in boxing history when he finally fought a real challenger was almost beaten to death.

He did well physically but he broke mentally. Probably not coming back from that one. TA said he quit on him.

I remember “The Nail” almost killed Aduckis Chickenson.

Glad Adonis “Superman” made it doe.

Was just a joke about the name. I really loved watching Adonis over the years.

Dudes had near 4 years out and he's 36 in a coupla months. I'm sure he'll still be able to beat a couple of the lower ranked guys but equally confident he won't be able to just pick up where he left off.

this is where I didnt think Gvosdyk was as good as people said. Stevenson was looking alright in the first 10 but he had 0 gas left at all. I think he'd have won the fight a year or 2 earlier hands down.

From what I heard from member of stevenson camp is he wasn't in the gym for the camp for that fight half as much as he should have been.

It sure I agree that he wasn’t as good as people said. He gave Artur a hell of a battle, took out Adonis, stopped both Chilemba and Yunieski Gonzalez when they were both dangerous. He was a top 15 guy P4P at the time.
