Should their be a super heavyweight weight class ?

If they have a super-heavyweght weight class where should the weight begin 250,260 or 270lb ?

No it would tarnish boxing history.

The HW division is fine as it is IMO.

The Heavyweight is the Ultimate division. Because it is open class 'Life itself is open class'.

When you was back in high school? Did people care about weight classes? If you was one of the hardest kids in your year, you was one of the hardest 'That was it'.

No weight classes, no weight limits. That is how life works, we are in open class field of existence.

People may mock the Heavyweight division, but at-least we know what we are watching 'We are watching two optimally prepared Heavyweights fight, no matter what that standard is skill for skill'.

There are no weight limits, no catch weights, re-hydration clauses 'Or a toxic weight draining culture'. Just pure open class competition, the same way it is in nature.

The Heavyweight division, is not about seeing who the best 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 270 pound fighter is in the world 'It is not about that, it has never been about a weight class'.

The Heavyweight division on a fundamental level 'It is about seeing who is the toughest, most brutal, most skillful, fighter on the planet regardless of their dimensions'.

Any man with the courage, to lace up a pair of boxing gloves 'And throw a punch, in a competitive state. Can compete to become the Heavyweight Champion of the World'.

The Heavyweight Champion is the apex Champion in the sport.

no dont want to see heavyweight split up.

if they HAVE to do something then just make heavyweight > 210 pounds or something and either expand cruiserweight again or make super cruiserweight or something.

Usyk and Wilder are both now 215-225 and they are able to beat pretty much anyone but Fury. If we made the weight limit higher, then what it would be Fury sitting by himself beating bums in the super heavy division of 260 pounds and over or something dumb like that.

No, Deontay Wilder at 210 was KOin guys 250-260 regularly.

There's a point where size becomes an impediment, so at "super-heavyweight" division would just devolve into a bunch of roided up monsters & guys who look like Butterbean.

No, most guys over 175 lbs can generate enough power to KO any guy if landed correctly.

There should only be 10 weight classes. Get rid of all this jr bull**** and it will even out.

              108 strawweight

              118 bantamweight

              128 featherweight

              138 lw

              148 ww

              158 mw

              168 smw

              178 lthw

              190 cw

No, though I think raising the cruise limit to 215 and adding a class between 175 and 215, say 195 and calling it dreadnaught weight, or something.

The Heavyweight class is currently highly unactive, why make it worse? Hopefully in the upcoming years there be more contenders but dividing the already quite limited talent pool with put the nail in the coffin on the most widely seen division for a decade or so.
