Great fight, my first time seeing Beterbiev live. He moves his feet a lot better than people think. You definitely notice that watching up close.

yup 100000 pct… I think many people are starting to catch on to the fact that contrary to popular belief he is far far far from just a come-forward-slugger

Punchers often don’t get enough credit, Golovkin’s skills were similarly overlooked, I think people forget the pedigree of these guys.

I was impressed with way Artur transitioned from defence to offence, that’s the first time I can remember somebody pushing him back to the ropes, but Artur continually spun Yarde and essentially made him a victim of his own aggression, that’s a nuance to Artur’s game I hadn’t previously seen.

          I prefer this one:

For those that think Bivol walks through him.

I've been following Beterbiev since his cloud fight and ever since then became a fan...I really want him to fight Bivol this year if it happens when he's 39 am afraid father time will catch up with him we all age and his legs will get slower...he needs to ditch the WBC belt we all know he's the champ and get the unification fight... Beterbiev is a rare talent power, will and skill

What did you make of Yarde's performance John? Kid have you at all worried at any point?

I've been telling people this since he went pro. Deceptively good boxer. Good footwork, great ring IQ. Very underrated skills as far as getting out of and/or avoiding clinches.

I thought Anthony fought a very good fight, especially earlier on. He was definitely dangerous and he had a good game plan. It took time to adjust to him. But I can’t really say I was worried because Arthur always gets stronger as the fights go on and he always closes the distance. Every round little by little it gets better for him. But again I respect Anthony. He should be proud of himself

But he is a come-forward-slugger.... with over-par technique... I'm from Montreal and I followed him since he made his move to Canada... I don't see him slowing down or get the Father-Time hammer... He just got wiser and more economical with years... If anything he's more dangerous than in his beginning years...
