Relatively common condition for wrestlers, BJJ and MMA athletes to have but any notable boxers now or in the past who had ears with that condition? Manny's ears looked a little off.

I believe Pacquiao s ear was caused by a punch/ punches by Miguel cotto (whom PAC claims was his toughest opponent because in his own words 'after 6 rounds the fight was still even).PACs ear was immediately bandaged and swollen after the Cotto fight. And another thing I believe it was from clubbing left hooks as Pacquiao right ear was damaged. To add my 2 cents, the late great Manny steward chimed in that Miguel's technique looked sloppy, almost looking like he was training himself before the fight. Maybe he was captain of the ship called team Cotto? Lol he got different better trainers before it was too late though.
My neighbor/amateur boxer did the same thing regarding training himself. He paid coin to train at a specific gym to simply use the facility, as he already knew how to box.
And bebut shemenov who fought Bernard Hopkins had zero trainers, none, whatsoever. Completely self trained. Empty corner between rounds just him chilling and resting lol.

Another margarito victim was Paul Williams. He beat the cheater margarito but suffered a large cut over his eye from the plaster while doing so.
Another margarito victim was the great Sergio Martinez. Just watched that fight again. Martinez brought the heat but margaritos punches looked extremely heavy and lumbering while making large thudding sounds for real. What a dang shame.
And I believe his sparring partner (Antonio's I mean) had a broken orbital bone in training saying "he hit pretty hard."
