I think Asikainen was rated highly in the IBF rankings, so hopefully Macklin has been pushed up their rankings, and by the end of 2010 can challenge for the World title. I'm sure Sylvester is in no hurry to unify the titles, so chances are he'd take meaningless mandatories for a couple fights. I'm sure Macklin could put enough on him to be victor.
