Horus Presents: BOXING FANS VS. FIGHT FANS (Which 1 R U?)
It has become every so apparent to me that the lines have been draw in the sand when it comes to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
On One Side you have the BOXING Fans. Who Praise Him as the one of the Pound 4 Pound best they ever seen, and an all time Legend. I am talking about true boxing fans, those who love the art of boxing and appreciate the skill, discipline and dedication it takes to be truly great in the sport.
On the other side you have the FIGHT fans, those who question Mayweather status as a great fighter and Criticize he fight style as “BORING” “LACKING DRAMA” AND “DOESN’T TAKE RISK”. In simpler terms, the fans that love blood and guts warriors, and who praise raw aggression over season skill, and risk taking over discipline.
So here is the question If you had to pick 1 or the other which one are you and why?
BOXING FAN FIGHT FAN
Horus: Boxing Fan
My argument
Is BOXING IS AN ARTFORM...
Floyd Mayweather jr. has mastered the ARTFORM of boxing
Just look at the compubox numbers!!! He is a plus 32
Why bleed and cut it you don't have too?
I don't blame Floyd for not wanting to be punch drunk.
I don’t want to see him in there just swinging crazy wild ass punches.
That’s not what I expect from or want to see from Floyd, as so called “boxing fans” shouldn’t either.
Could you imagine someone like MIchael Jordan dumbing down his skill level to make a basketball game closer so people can see a more competitive game?
Or Jerry Rice purposely dropping passes so football fans can see how he struggles under pressure.
Allot of "so-called" boxing fans but really are just "FIGHT FANS" are always trying to force Floyd and other fighters that practice the sweet science to abandon their defense and put there chin in the air for there enjoyment.
FLOYD is boxing at its purist form.
So the excitement you should get is not Wanting Floyd to change his game up...
But wanting to see if anybody will take the risk like Castillo did in order to beat Floyd.....
Floyd shouldn’t have to change his style to accommodate FIGHT FANS like you.
BOXING FANS love his style just the way it is...
There's plenty of fighters that had the skills that Mayweather does and wasn't afraid to go to war if you look back at history. How about Archie Moore, Mike McCallum, and Sugar Ray Leonard. Sure, they had good defense. But if you are trying to get me to give credit to a guy for going the distance with a 36-year old Featherweight who had tough fights on his odometer. Sorry, can't do it.

I am just asking you to to describe what type a fan you are and why thats it..

Boxing is a subgroup of Fighting. This is what I understand from the conventional concepts. Therefore, if you are a boxing fan, you are also a fight fan. And please do not compare Micheal Jordan to Floyd Mayweather. What MJ did for the basketball means much much more than what Floyd did to boxing.
My question for you is though what is more impressive, a fighter landing 200 punches in a fight and KOing his opponent, or a fighter only getting hit 30 times in a fight and winning by UD.
