A mixture of both..

that's why I like the types like Cotto, Marquez Bros, Mosley, etc..and my All time favorite Salvador Sanchez..because they all had/have very good boxing skills..but they also go in to a brawler style to please fans of all kinds!..

A pure boxer is good to watch..but can make for a dull fight..and an all out brawler..can just look plain ****** swinging for Homeruns at all times with no skills behind them..

So I think a perfect blend is what I look for..

Awesome thread my man! I dont wanna hijack this boxer/fighter thread and start another Pac/Floyd discussion but you couldnt have 2 more contrasting refined boxing styles, and funny enough that they also happen to be the best in the sport. However, I dont think a face-off would prove much. The problem is just that small gap in weight classes, which means Mayweather would be taller, naturally bigger and with a much longer reach, and I think those physically advantages would really suit his style.

Sorry I'm getting sidetracked again....back to the thread...

I'll always appreciate offensive intelligent boxing slightly more, but I have to say i f**king love it when 2 guys go to war! Eg. the Rogan/Sexton heavyweight rematch I'll be attending in November (watch the first fight on youtube, its brutal!) bring it on!

Look, most people I know (myself included) don't have a problem with Floyd's style. It's his character as a fighter. You Floyd stans need to get that in your heads.

I love Floyd's style. I can appreciate his skills. What I don't like about the man is that he lets his mouth speak for him moreso than his actions. He says he's the best and claims no one is on his level. So prove it by making big fights and winning them. If he starts taking on all comers and fighting for legacy rather than the dollar I would have no qualms about it.

I like Floyd the boxer as much as I dislike Floyd the person.
