"He spent his first seven years and 20 fights working the sport’s less-heralded back rooms in cities like Youngstown, Tacoma and Flint before crossing the Atlantic to Wembley Stadium for a long-awaited shot at the big time – in this case, a match with recently failed title challenger Dillian Whyte"

    Wembley Arena not Wembley Stadium

    Stadium holds 90k+
The arena is next to it and capacity is 12,500

    Sounds good saying Wembley though

Kind of like how smaller boxers shows are promoted sometimes as at MSG when they're at Hulu

Saying MSG or Wembley sounds better than saying Hulu Theatre or OVO Arena (Wembley Arena)

100% right that the fight vs Whyte was at Wembley Arena and not Wembley Stadium; there is a vast difference in capacity as you point out.

As with music stars touring, the elite do stadium gigs, but arena tours are still the big time. They got the venue wrong in the article, but Wembley Arena is still a big deal, as is the O2, which packs in 4x as many people as the Hulu Theatre.
