Canelo would knock him out in under 4 rounds

KO's 16 straight in the first round. Hasn't KO'd anyone in last 2 years. Yeah, not the dynamo he was marketed to be, useful to help pad Canelo's record tho.

Berlanga was dropped by Marcelo Esteban Coceres, who is an Argentine not a Mexican. He hasn't been dropped by any Mexican, although he's knocked out a few.
That can very well change in the future, but until it does happen we can't report that it has. Berlanga was on the verge of stopping Coceres by TKO, due to his punches swelling one of Coceres' eye shut. Berlanga, also stated in a recent video that he broke Coceres' orbital bone in three places of the same eye. These statement's in no way to imply that Berlanga will ever win a title within his boxing career, that still remains to be seen.

Berlanga sucks. There is reason the best promotional company let him go.

The epitome of a hype job and already looking to cash out, being encouraged by irresponsible promotors - it seems. Kinda wouldn't mind seeing Canelo let loose on Berlanga; as long as he doesn't carry him, that would suck.

Berlanga is a poor man's broner sad but true.

Berlanga is making delusional statement's of that there is no doubt about that, he is a draw at a smaller scale of the boxing spectrum.
That said since he's left Top Rank, the 3 other promoting powerhouses, are reportedly offering him big buck's to sign with them.
Don't think that these promoter's are fool's throwing away there money, they will pick his next opponent's wisely in order to maximize their financial gain's.
In analyzing all of the known factor's, who the potential promoter's are, Their financial backing, and who their stable of fighter's are.
It seem's to me that Berlanga is going to be signing with none other than Eddie Hearn, who can deliver the biggest prize in boxing, (Who's not a heavyweight) Canelo.
They'll see it as an easiest win, for the greatest reward, and the fan's will come out in droves to see Berlanga get stopped, or pull off the upset, and others will show up to cheer on their Mexican icon.
So even though Berlanga is delusional, he has moved himself into one of the most enviable financial opportunities currently in boxing.
If Berlanga has taken his time away from the ring to perfect his boxing skill's, combination's, defense, as well as punch selection, he might surprise a many of his detractor's.
Remember this is boxing, and throughout it's history, a multitude of upset's have taken place involving challengers who were perceived to be sacrificial lamb's for a established fighter, or the grand champion.

I think this guy needs to take a few fight's outside of the USA. Maybe Zach Parker in the UK or Erik Bazinyan in Canada could work, but I really think he needs to get his name known more globally.
