DAZN UK now £19.99 a month

Unless you pay 100 large up front for the year

I reckon they’re gonna lose even more subscribers

considering the cost of living increasing massively across the country, I don’t think they have read the room very well with this one.

1000% price increase from the original £2 a month. I think they’re squeezing what they can out of the UK before they cease operations tbh.

£20 a month for 2-4 shows a month is disgraceful. A Sky Sports monthly pass is about £33 I think and I’d say you get around 12-20 EPL games, EFL games, Bundesliga games, International Football, NFL games, NBA Games, PGA Tour Golf, European Tour Golf, every F1 race, Super League Rugby, PDC Darts, International Cricket and I’d say around 2 boxing shows per month.

DAZN trying to charge £20 for a few boxing shows a month is short-changing any existing UK subscribers they do have. Disgraceful behaviour from these rip off merchants. F*** them…

When it started I was skeptical. When it kept going and it had confirmed benefits I joined. After they started to charge for ppv which was the most appealing feature I cancelled. Now they are raising the price for regular fights, simply not enough content to justify that monthly fee.

          Yeah it’s a disgrace

you could subscribe to both Netflix and Amazon Prime combined for the same cost and look at the content they offer in their respective fields compared to DAZN

I don’t see many people paying it except for a handful of Hearniacs still clinging on to the hope Joshua might end up winning some vacant belt one day.

I was exactly the same. Liked the concept at first, after the first price hike, I was like ok it’s not great value but I’ll give it time, then when they announced PPV and literally contradicted everything they supposedly stood for I was like nah I’m out.

Great comparison, it’s an absolute liberty trying to charge £20 for a few Matchroom shows and the odd GBP show. During a cost of living crisis too.

Even take Boxnation for example, £10-12 a month if I remember correctly, they showed TR shows, PBC shows, GBP shows, DiBella shows, Warren shows, Moloney shows, the Sauerland and K2 cards in Germany, the big Russian cards even random stuff from South Africa occasionally. They regularly showed all the big stars too like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, Cotto, Marquez, GGG, Kovalev etc.

Edward can stick the DAZN crap.

IPTV on a Firestick for £60 a year offers every televised sporting event under one subscription - unbeatable value

In usa its Now it's $20 a month when you can get ESPN which has way more Sports and content for 10 bucks a month. I don't know how they come up with these pricing models. At the end of the day all they have to do is cut the salaries for the overpaid Fighters that they have. That would make the app much more sustainable. Instead of going to the fans that have nothing to do with the exuberant salaries of the boxers.
