I saw things otherwise, as Sereano showed tremendous toughness and heart against a very strong opponent, as Cruz really fought hard and hit her with damaging shots. Serrano got bust up in there, but she seemed to hurt Cruz even worse. As for Katie Taylor, as fabulous a fighter as she is, Mother time is definitely putting dents into her, and Serrano will do so again, as she still hits harder and crisper than Taylor IMO.

Lol you’re a Boricua so of course you viewed the fight that way. Serrano won IMO but it wasn’t the type of beat down you just described. Cruz was cut badly from a head butt and still stayed in the fight all night long exchanging blows with Serrano. She also cut Serrano and landed her fair amount of shots. Serrano won but it wasn’t the type of beat down that your biased comment states.
Although she did put up a hell of a fight, that was partly because Serrano was in hell bent on knocking Cruz out that she went toe to toe with her.
Now just to be a bit more clear we will see how both of the fighter's perform in their next fight.
It's unfortunate that Cruz suffered a bad cut due to an unintentional head butt, but that was caused by her lack of boxing ability (head down, and swing blindly).
Her corner kept buying her time to recover in between round's by spilling water in her corner (but it's an old trick, and everyone's aware of it).
This is my last reply on this particular subject, kudos for Cruz, and her fighting heart, but her corner should've saved her from the unnecessary beating she took.
They didn't she even was arguing with her chief second, because she was hurting, and hurting badly, they didn't save her from an extended beating, and it's going to probably shorten her career.Comment
