If Shakur's last name was Garcia I'll bet you'd be singing his praises day and night. Just because a fighter is unknown to you doesn't mean they're a bum. It’s unfortunate that he’s either that good or others are that bad and sadly so everyone wants to say they are champions, then you have Ryan internet Sensation Garcia fighting Tank but no one seems available to fight Shakur with all the lightweight talent everyone just want to test themselves against someone they believe they can beat! I hear what you're saying but honestly we're lucky we're (hopefully) getting Tank vs Ryan. As for Shakur, he's in the top 5 in all 4 major governing bodies so eventually he will be the mandatory challenger and the title holders should be forced to fight him or vacate.

He's really being ducked after completely outclassing Valdez. If he gains mandatory status, I suspect most LW belt holders will vacate to avoid the same humiliation.
