When anyone says 'you run, why won't you stand & fight' that doesn't inspire confidence! Back before WW1 Jack Johnson was sparring 'sailor' Tom Sharkey. Infuriated by Johnson's speed & slick moves Sharkey cried out to the trainer ' you should make him stand & fight'. Even then, 110 years ago, the trainer had the sense to reply ' No you should make him stand & fight'.
