Why doesn't Liam talk about how Navarrate was still extremely hurt when the action continued, including part of the following round where Navarrate was clearly hurt and he didn't get the job done, is that the refs fault too? Take that you got KTFO like a man...
26 seconds to recover, I've a feeling if he had a minute to recover you'd be ok with that to.

If Navarrete had to make weight he would not have had the endurance to come on late either. Top Skank is rank with corruption. Plus Wilson took the fight on short notice.

The protection kicks in as soon as the money maker / hometown favorite hits a bump. It's a survival mechanism, a fear of the crowd thing and I count on it.. That's why I give hometown heros two points when they sign a fight. Tsyu vs Harrison, Tim is up 2 points already. It works out most of the time. Warrington and his headbutts, Mexicans in the south west. Islands get 3 points.

It can also be said that if Navarrete wasn't given that much time to recover, Wilson could have jumped on him and not let him recover. The fact is, Navarrete showed why he is elite and Wilson rose to the occasion and did great for an 11 fight fighter.

It was a smart veteran move by Navarette to spit the mouthpiece. The ref could have handled it a few different ways. How you view the situation depends on who you wanted to see win the fight. It was a good action packed fight. Wilsons stock goes way up in defeat.

Damn, 26 seconds is 2 1/2 times more recovery time than a fighter is supposed to be granted. But you’re right, for certain fans, their stance in this issue will vary based on who this happens to. If the situation was reversed, they’d be outraged. But since it didn’t, they’ll just say it’s part of the sport.

A win for the Aussie guy would have been a good addition to the sport. He's got an entertaining style. I won't be surprised if the Bobfather is trying to lure him now to join TR.

He did get a long count, but that's the deal when you're fighting abroad. Wilson would have got a long count in Oz.

Wilson had the opportunity and let it slip through his fingers - his corner was giving him the wrong advice all night. He should have piled it on Navarrete after he hurt him. Instead he fought like he was up wide on the scorecards and couldn't be hurt. Wrong in both cases.

Wilson punched Navarrete when he was in the ground.

So, he deserved More Time to recover a probably DQ For Wilson
