Comments Thread For: Richard Torrez Jr. Drops, Stops James Bryant After One Round

Torrez scored a knockdown at the end of round, which left Bryant unsteady upon rising to his feet with his corner opting to stop the contest prior to the start of round two in their ESPN-televised opener Friday evening from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Tom Selleck may have came into the game late, but he is more than capable of getting a shot at Daniel Dubois' world title. Nash out

LOL hahahaha he rocks that perm very well.

I would like to see him in a 8 rounder next fight.....his offense is to caveman like against these lower competition guys. I need to see jabbing instead of just walking in

We got to see some very unprepared/ unready-for-the-big-time corners today. Bryan's was one of them, (not counting Stitch).

I think Torres definitely has the power skill and style that can beat guys like Efe ajagba, dubious, or Alen Babic would be hell of fight to see. Torrez vs J.Anderson in two years both are 23 and would be great fight to see in their primes

That uppercut looked like something from an action movie...lol. Dude got lifted off his feet and flew across the ring.
Torrez needs to continue to settle down and box instead of running in like a maniac. He was showing that in this fight .
