Comments Thread For: Rey Vargas On Facing Navarrete At 130: That's A Fight That Would Be Thrilling To Mexican Fans

Emanuel Navarrete and Rey Vargas could become three-division champions within an eight-day span this month. The Mexican veterans never fought when they owned world titles in the 122-pound and 126-pound divisions, but Vargas thinks a title unification bout versus Navarrete is at least a possibility if they win their upcoming fights for unclaimed 130-pound championships.

Vargas has a tough task in front of him! At nearly 5'8" (looks taller than that), Vargas should feel much better at 130!

Since they're both cherry pickers, I'm sure they will avoid one another.

I think Vargas loses his next fight by controversial decision. Seems like Vargas is a gift to Probellum.

Isn't Navarette with Top Rank? Why is he even mentioning this fight? Leo Santa Cruz is available.

              Lol
Navarrete destroyed Dogboe when he was the #1 or #2 in 122.

And Vargas destroyed the superstar Magsayo when he was too inactive.

Who is free to fight anywhere among the two? Didn't Rey Vargas beat Magsayo on the PBC platform and Navarette fights on ESPN? Are fights that easy to make now? What's this excitement all about? And as if Navarette would be back in a month after this Saturday's fight.
