Makes sense for years I hear Johnson commenting College Football and for sure that pays more than boxing. I watched Juanma Lopez-Orlando Salido rematch live and wasn’t able to hear the showtime commentary but when I got home I watched it Tarver and Johnson made the fight even better than it was live.

I think that it stems from when Plant and the Benavidez brothers had a run in at a gym some years ago. It's on youtube somewhere.

Great fight it's on! Probably the best fight to be made at 168 outside of Canelo. Keen to see what Benavidez has and if Plant can outbox him excited for this one!

Plant will test Benavidez if he boxes but Plant is no big puncher so he will have to be sharp.

I was looking at the press conference, and benavidez looked very emotional and has very little control over himself. He at one point stood up when he wasn't supposed to. He appears overly anxious. Plant looked very composed. As for the fight, who knows what will happen? Fighters threatening other fighters saying "I am going to put you in the hospital" have not worked out well, so I hope benavidez do what he say he would do and not jinx himself.
