Who are you to say he would have went down if it continued? You have no point of reference until the physical act has occurred some point in the past. For all you know, Chuvalo could keep going even if you axe half his head off. Until you see them pushed and stopped, and I think the logical part of you would agree, you don’t know what someone is made of.
Never dropped.
And yea, Foreman stepped into him and started landing with more frequency but I don’t think that was because Chuvalo was hurt. I think it was a skill issue. Foreman believed he hurt Chuvalo so he stepped up his game and started beating tf out of him. He could have done that way before landing the bomb if he just recognized he simply had more skill than this guy.

I just re-watched it. Chuvalo was eating shots to be sure, but he wasn't out of it. I agree it was a skill issue - Foreman was too fast for him once he started unloading and Chuvalo couldn't get his punch off and couldn't get out of the way fast enough. His corner stopped the fight because it was pointless, and to save him from a beating. Likely a good call, but Chuvalo wasn't seriously hurt (at least yet).
