I don't see why people are writing off Kovalev so quick he just beat Pulev's undefeated brother who was much bigger than him and hits harder than Mchunu, maybe his punch resistance is better now that he doesn't have to cut so much weight. Either way I give him a chance as Mchunu is nothing special and lost every time he stepped up in competition.

Who said it isn't happening? Beterbiev barely fought and he got cut, the fight should happen at the latest early next year because it looks like Beterbiev is fighting Smith next. There are several Russians who are still fighting so that shouldn't be an issue.

Mauricio says a lot of things like I said Beterbiev just fought this fight isn't happening in the next few months anyways so regardless of what has been said things can change.

Beterbiev is Russian just like Kovalev hell if you want to get technical both those guys are more Russian than Bivol being that his dad is from Moldova and his mom is 2nd generation Russian of Korean descent.
