99% of rappers are total nerds

think about when you were in school, it was only nerds that wanted to rap. The nerds grew up, got a gimmick and ran with it

look at Tupac, he was a ballet dancer in stage school before his rap gimmick obviously someone from ballet class doesn’t understand the life he tried to be part of, got involved in an incident he had no business being in and got killed for it.

It’s show business. Acting. Gimmicks. Look at NWA, maybe the most influential group in that genre, Eazy might have been some low level crack dealer for a bit, but the main lyricist Ice Cube was a university student, never been in trouble in his life. It’s story telling, that’s all.

Cant believe people listen to it and think it’s all real. It’s story telling by students, nerds, ballet students etc, method acting stuff.
