Nobody can knock Floyd's skills in the ring, the 1 million buys thing it a good thing but only good for Boxing... it is good to see how Dana White was trying to **** on Boxing so much and disrespected it and it turns out it did better and that more people were interested in Boxing that night, but at the end of the day the PPV sales doesn't benefit us financially so why should we care so much?
I mean, it is a shock to see... so many people were against the fight and so many people including me never expected it to sell that well, I wasn't expecting any more than 600k, seriously... so 1 million is a lot better than a lot of us thought, so I think it was the shock of it that got everyone.
But also, you can't really say anything... so many people saying "Floyd can't draw ****! Floyd can't sell a fight!" and stuff like that, and it turns out to do very well, you can't not expect people to be talking about it saying that so many people were wrong and stuff... I am not gloating about it cause at the end of the day it doesn't benefit me financially in any way.
Also, just to talk about purse splits for a second... don't want a huge debate about it though... can't be arsed, but I can kinda understand both Floyd and Pacquiao asking for the bigger share and all, and even though this fight has managed to sell very well... I think it should be 50/50, cause at the end of the day the fight is wanted and demanded so much by the public and the Boxing fans because of one fighter, people would be buying it because of both names... not mainly one.
