Good Kid... He'll be there again when the King hangs them up... I like how he didn't try to find "reasons"...

Yard was looking for his corner to stop the fight. In front of a dude that's almost 10 years older than him, slower than him, can't hit harder than him but sure did take his asz to a boxing clinic.yarde is soft, sorry but that's the truth. Comg**** bertbiev, great win. Yarde has a nice counter hook but he makes mistakes, over commits at times and he's no where near the level of beterbiev

Talented fighter, no doubt he got paid well, still has his facilities, and seems a thoughtful guy.

Get him in with Buatsi sometime at the end of this year, absolutely terrific domestic fight. Winner can go again at the world level post-Beterbiev I'm sure.
His promoter "bypassed" them because he wasn't confident Yarde would get past them!

Imo the two you mentioned, Buatsi and Johnson, would have beaten him.

The over hand right that dropped him came down and caught him behind the head, surprised to read he didn't feel that was the case

This is very impressive, most losing fighters make endless excuses and Yarde could admit his defeat and move on from it.

Hes not lying either that he had it harder than most with his only title shots being kovalev and beterbiev. A lot of other guys management getting them put in with bums for vacant titles, look at broner, 4 division champion but he isnt any better than Yarde

Yeah, I think you're right with this. On the one hand, he did look like he's learned something from the Kovalev fight about pacing himself, as he said in the presser, but on the other, you just knew the further into the fight it went, the more his endurance (or lack of) would be a hinderance. Beterbiev always has enough left in the tank to really turn on the thudding shots when he needs to and can just go whaling away when he gets his opponents cornered, no matter how late in the fight it is.

Yarde acquitted himself well against the toughest opponent imaginable. If he can keep working on and improving his craft, there's reason to believe he can still achieve significant things.

I was impressed with Yarde for how long the fight went on. I thought it would be that kind of fight but only 4-5 rounds with Beterbiev catching up with him.

Although, I didn’t have Yarde winning many rounds, just thought he was competitive in them.

You say about fighting bums for vacant titles and to be fair he has fought the number 1 in the division in both his title fights, but who has he beat to earn a title shot? His resume for winning fights is poor

All in all , your right , he didn’t deserve or earn this fight
The reason why this fight lasted as long as it did is cause Artur showed him to much respect and imo , he had a bad night
From start , his timing was off and wasn’t well balanced
Hence , the reason why he was missing and even stumbling in the first few rounds
