i pick beterbiev over kovalev, his style is more favored for pro 12 round fights and he beat kovalev in the amateurs, which even if it was near even that still favored kovalev, so if he won under rules favoring kovalev, i think he stops him in the pros in 12 rounds.

rare to see these guys like beterbiev that have KO power all 12 rounds, a lot of big KO artists you just had to get past the first 6 and you were in the clear, not with him though he is patient and will time a counter on you

IMHO, Betes hasn't been tested or tested often.

Jeff Lacy was supposed to be the next ATG.

A completely past it washed kovalev had a much easier time with yard then Beterbiev (who just took beter life and death) also a prime Kovalev had one of the best jabs ever for that weight and beterb head is there for every single power jab. The disrespect for Kovalev is hilarious

He was also a better boxer. Due to Krushers power people underestimate his boxing skills but he was boxing an old Bernard Hopkins head off (yes Bernie was old as hell but the point is what Krusher showed he actually has boxing skills not just ko power in both hands

Good fights. Kova wins both. We watched him win more rounds against Ward and outboxed Hopkins. That alone tells you that Bivol best strengths - the boxing - would be nullified. Regarding beter, we just saw his fight was Yarde, he is very easy to hit, a prime Kova would stop him in the mid rounds.

I knew Lacy was azz when he looked like trash against Omar Sheika. Bad infighter and there was no doubt in my mind that Calzagghe was going to punish him. People believed the hype like they are with Boots

Kovalev was almost stopped by Yarde. How did he have an easier time? hahaha. He was almost stopped and Mcgirt threatened to throw the towel in between a round. How on earth was that having an easier time than what Beterbiev did?

If Beterbiev knocks out Bivol, he is ATG, no doubt.

That was one round where a shot past it kovalev was hurt. Kovalev almost shut yard out 10 rounds to one. U are talking about one round. Beterbiev was rocked and in a back and fourth war for most rounds till he eventually got the stoppage.....

It would have been really interesting if their peaks coincided and they actually fought each other. We already missed Kovalev vs Stevenson and we may be on our way to missing Beterbiev vs Bivol.
