Bud was born and raised in Nebraska which is 99.99% white. He was taught to hate himself and others that look like him. I'm quite sure the school system in that state doesn't offer any courses on black history. Spence fought an in his prime Brook, an in his prime Mikey Garcia, a close to an in his prime Porter, a close to in his prime Danny Garcia. He retired Lamont Peterson, almost fought Pacquiao, and destroyed a very reputable Ugas.

Spence's resume is solid. Crawford's resume is not.

Spence is known to boxing fans.

This is about as clear of a duck as can be made. Bud isn't a contender fighting his way up to the undisputed championship, he's the WBO champion, with the lone missing belt. Spence stated on numerous occasions that he only has 1 or 2 fights left at 147, and that was before the Ugas fight. His only intention at 147 is the undisputed fight with Crawford, otherwise, he's moving to 154.

Why the hell would Bud fight Rochas instead of going after Spence, or at least Boots or Ortiz? Crawford is aging himself out of the fight with Spence, and avoiding the fight until Errol can no longer make the weight. If Bud fights Rocha and Ortiz before Spence, there's no way it would be at 147 and Crawford would be 37. Rocha hasn't beat anyone but Cobbs, laughable, to be more important than undisputed.
