yeah the very same 6'3/4 guy who weighs cruiserweight come fight night and Canelo was his last fight at 68 and fúcked him about over dates and such... it doesn't take a genius to work it out.

If Callum Johnson can put him over and have him blinking like McClellan against Benn than rest assured the better boxer and harder puncher who was from the very same gym as Johnson could do it and won't be like a deer in headlights in that situation and finish him.

It's the one thing people who train out of the Gallagher gym have going for them and it's the catch and counter and as tonight has cemented even further then before, Beterbiev gets hit with the left hook with regularity because he's always coming over the front foot and the fact you don't think it'll be exploited by someone is beyond laughable...

Even the ref must of been in on it cause the flag should of been thrown in right after the knockdown
Yarde was looking for an exit , probably just to embarrassed to call it

two of the 3 judges had no business being in a world title fight. and one of them did have beterbiev up. but the 5-2 was someone from south korea. the issue with getting no named judges if you help out the promoter you'll get more work. it's a shame they got no name judges for this one.

Beterbiev is a known slow starter and Yarde won the first 2 rounds and maybe the 7th? Can't quite remember TBH.

Yarde gave a good account of himself but he is just not that good, he looks the part and is well hyped but his fundamentals are missing, vert poor conditioning, poor footwork, no jab and a dicey shoulder roll. He showed heart but not much else.

I watched the fight last night live and had terrible impressions for UK being a host to such boxing event. E.G. Yarde was spitting his mouth piece, no action from the ref. Afterwards they gave time to Yarde to recover, in one of the rounds referee stopped the fight to lift Yarde's beltline/pants. The worst part was not the horibble scorecards but the biased live commentators from BT Sport - they are such weasels. I have a feeling that british boxing is on the downturn for several years now, it's no longer a good place for the sport of boxing and it will get even worse.

Great fight!! I thought Yarde was a head but Beterbiev proved himself once again. I see age catching up to him though. I thought B should have boxed more. He should have respected Yarde more and outboxed him.

If you believe Yarde was ahead I strongly suggest you to buy glasses or switch to other sport. The fight was sometimes competitive but Beterbiev won clearly 5 rounds. They clearly wanted to rob Artur.

Furthermore the crooked ref was giving so much time to recover after Yarde spited his mouthpiece several times. Also was lifting Yards trunks to give more time to recover again. Fair play to Artur he trashed all their robbery plan

It would be a great fight and if it happens on ESPN (free TV) like Arum has suggested, I'll watch it live. I'm leaning toward Bivol myself but will be happy with whichever one wins.
