1. Julio Cesar Chavez Sr- Rafael Limon, Lockridge, Castillo, Ramirez, Hector Camacho, Edwin Rosario, Tony Lopez, Greg Haugen and Meldrick Taylor.
2. Salvador Sanchez- Laporte, Danny Lopez, Wilfredo Gomez and Azumah Nelson.
3. Ruben Olivares- Jose Medel, Takao Sakurai, Lionel Rose, Chucho Castillo, Bobby Chacon and Jose Luis Ramirez.
4. Vicente Saldivar- Ismael Laguna, Sugar Ramos, Howard Winstone and Jose Legra.
5. Alberto Arizmandi- Tony Canzoneri, Chalky Wright, Lou Ambers, Sammy Angott and Freddie Miller
Canelo will likely be at the top 5, but his career isn't over yet finished.
When it comes to who I found most entertaining:
1. Juan Manuel Marquez
2. Jorge Paez
3. Salvador Sanchez
4. Erik Morales
5. Canelo Alvarez
Likely because I was introduced to boxing at a quite young age in the 2010s, I have recency bias and thanks to the internet I could rewatch recordings at the time. I don't find Canelo as entertaining as he was back then as he didn't use to gas so quickly and put a spectacle with superb defense.
