Bob says the fight won’t happen this yr because if the Canelo rematch. Hearn is desperately trying make the rematch for financial reasons. But if you hear Bivol talk, he says he prefers the unification with Beterbiev while Beterbiev also expresses this is the fight he wants. Might be time for these boxers to take their careers into their own hands and make the fights they want. From a competition standpoint, Canelo has no business in this equation.

How do they do that? Tank & Ryan wanted to fight, desperately wanted to fight. I think it was a big reason Tank left Floyd! However that fight wasn't going to happen until Showtime execs, and DAZN execs, came to an agreement. It took more than Tank & Ryan, and it took more than Haymon & De La Hoya. There's really not much the fighters can do themselves! If Fulton vs. Inoue can get done, Beterbiev vs. Bivol should be able to get done too!

I agree, Canelo should not be in the equation, but Bivol probably knows how much money that fight generates! That kind of money even has him considering fighting at 168! That's a hard choice to make, Canelo money vs. Beterbiev money!

IMO these 2 guys would face each other. The promoters are the problem here, I mean just the other day Bob was saying that the only way this fight gets made is if Hearn is willing to make the fight on ESPN. While I agree that ESPN is a better platform than Dazn, having that mind makes things harder to put things together. First off the platform that is willing to pay the most should be the front runner regardless of who it is, if ESPN is willing to pay more than yes, it should be on ESPN, same goes for Dazn. But this is Bobby's tactics, play dumb, avoid and blame the other side, he made it famous with Crawford....

Like Crawford-Spence, this is another fight hijacked by greedy, egotistical promoters that will never happen. It's sad because it's a true 50/50 fight between two guys who never talk trash or disrespect their opponents.

Bivol's team pre covid - We can wait till he gets older. Same going on here as with Spence and Crawford. Can play like y'all don't see it? Beterbiev would have done a demolition job on Bivol 4 years. Imagine 4 years have pass along with covid and a couple of injuries and still can't get the fight ASAP.
