YOU can't get out of that contract Deontay Al tells you when to fight, where to fight.

Plus you-know-who gets a cut (Lives in Vegas)

There seems to be tons of protection going on, at this moment in time.

Truth is someone is unhappy lol.

Dumb. Every professional fighter has the same problem.

It's not clear why these PBC fighters always make sure uncle Al gets a cut when they can make more just by crossing the street and let the other side with bigger money to burn take care of everything. They'd rather share it with uncle Al... Gervonta Davis, for example, is basically a free agent, yet his fight with R. Garcia has to be on a joint complicated venture. This loyalty thing is a ****** idea in this sport where fighters need to make as much money before retiring.

Fighters let their advisors make all the decisions. They don’t bother even contemplating most of what is going on, they just train. Look at Prograis most recently, guy admits he doesn’t know what’s going on, he lets his advisors and “business people” handle everything. Guy didn’t even know he could’ve forced a purse bid with Ramirez back around 2019. He didn’t know what a purse bid was I believe were his words. Or look at how Mike Tyson got ***ed over by Shirley Winkel (Wilder’s now manager).

They’re signing Haymon as an advisor knowing they are handing their careers over to him.

He doesn't have any contract with uncle Al, like most PBC fighters don't. He and others like Thurman, Broner, etc. already admitted long time ago they can fight anywhere they want to. They hide behind their uncle's skirt when they avoid certain fights. That's all it is. It's more like the feeling of being protected like little children. Deontay waxed poetic about the value of loyalty, "I'm in a dream team, Floyd's team," when he was offered huge money by Hearn. Only to be ditched by Espinoza, "Deal didn't make sense for us," and forced to deal with Fox, which is now out of the picture.
