Seriously, this guy just did a million buys coming out of a 2 year layoff when all the media people basicaly called it a joke fight the whole time, and he went up against a UFC card. This is great for boxing. I think you also should man up and admit that you were wrong. There aint nothing wrong with being wrong but there is something wrong when you dont own up to being wrong. If youre wrong then its ok because it was great for boxing. Imagine if Pac wins now? Floyd-Pac will do a billion buys, e****aly with the performance that Floyd put on against JMM. That had to hype people even more to want to see Floyd vs Pac and it had to hype a ton of people just to want to see Pac beat Floyd. So many are going to want to see Pac beat Floyd. Again, Im not saying that Pac will get by Cotto but it probably is best for boxing.
Still, my main point is that even if you hate Floyds guts and dont want to give him any credit, you should be happy that a boxing card did a million buys, did it against the UFC, brought boxing back to the Theaters, had good fighters on the undercard even if it may not have been exciting, we had non stop coverage on ESPN, 24/7 has to be one of the biggest shows on HBO now, you have Schaffer talking about he's near done with getting boxing on CBS again, and the best thing is that its only going to get better because each fight is bigger & better then the last in terms of opponents. We should be happy about that and not hate. This is awesome for boxing what is going on right now after so many said that our sport was dead. Its not just Floyd. He's on top but what Pac, Hatton, and others are doing are great too. It all is big for the sport
