Not the first time Arum and Hearn work/ed something out. Baumgardner, who is with Hearn, was allowed to fight on ESPN with Mayer in exchange for, I don't remember the exact deal. And Mikaela bragged about not having to cross the street and fight on home network.Comment

Arum knows Canada is one of DAZNs most important territories so the odds of this happening are slim to none.
And Beterbiev is actively avoiding Bivol they were both with DAZN late 2018, both just got their respective fights out of the way and could've unified in early 2019.
He decided to randomly move on and has since never mentioned Bivols name, not only that his promoter has had nothing but disparaging things to say and now he's putting barriers in the way...
I'll be truly amazed if this fight ever gets made.
it's not really financially viable and they can wait for Bivol to build his brand more by beating Canelo again whilst Beterbiev knocks over stiffs to make it "viable".
and who’s putting up barriers? Last I checked it’s Hearn who’s saying Bivol needs to fight Canelo and Butsai while begging for the WBC to call Smith as mandatory.Last edited by _Rexy_; 01-27-2023, 07:38 PM.Comment

Hardest hitting light heavyweight ever? It makes me think, and my knowledge of the history of light heavyweights isn't as good as other divisions.
Moorer was a big puncher at that weight. Bob Foster a good puncher. Beterbiev is one of the hardest punchers in the history of the division for sure.
It’s one thing to punch hard and it’s one thing to have top notch skills.
Mythical matchup between Roy Jones and Beterbiev would prove that.
But we don’t need to go into hypotheticals, Bivol will beat up Beterbiev when they do fight.

Hearn needs to let Bivol try to and become undisputed against Beter and ESPN IS no doubt the biggest sports/boxing platform there is so in this instance I gotta agree. Bivol going over, snatching those belts in front of that big of an audience benefits Bivol/DAZN/Hearn in ways no other fight for Bivol on DAZN can.Comment

I'm not rehashing what I've already covered, you're clearly bias I couldn't careless about what Hearn or Arum want, it's the fact he's already avoided the fight and is actively letting his promoter "poo-poo" the fight and put barriers in the way, that's establishing a pattern of behavior when it comes to Artur and Bivol...Comment
