Is anyone taking note of how many cross-promotion fights that are occurring lately, or soon to be occurring?

I'm not sure, but we have Tank vs. Garcia, Nery vs. Azat, Ortiz Jr. vs. Stanionis, and soon Fulton vs. Inoue! That's a lot, and it's early in 2023! That's a blessing for the fans!

Looking forward to this fight. I think Nery will win a close decision.

the trouble is have any of those fights taken place yet ? i am sorta of kidding but not really, I hope those fights take place i hope that Arum is serious about Beter v Bivol happening and many more. So yea you are right and I hope the tables do turn and we start letting go or at least changing the tide of being willing to cross the street so to speak. We should get some action in the ring again this weekend. Few match ups that could bring some more people into the fight game. When the fights start happening the people will watch not just die hard fans but people who would be glad to come back to boxing IF the fights happen and are of easy access meaning none of these so called pay per view garbage that is not worth a dime.

What 'The People" need to do, is stop ordering those PPVs. That would make a difference. Another thing that I suggest, which was suggested by Breadman, was that the Main Events need to come on in Prime Time! I hate waiting until damn there midnight to watch a fight! i don't watch NFL, NCAAA, NBA, or MLB at midnight! Why should I have to wait until midnight for a fight? I grew up as a child watching fights with my Father and Grandfather, BUT NOT AT MIDNIGHT!!! How are you going to draw the youth back into the sport, if they never see the sport???

I hear what you are saying but how do you seperate a fool from him money his PPV money ? You can not take the fool out of some people even if it is just bc they dont know any better. So there will always be those that buy anything not knowing any better. Fine by me, let them have it. As far as getting young people to watch i once was a young person and being up at Midnight was not a problem, HBO fights Friday NIght Fights Tuesday Night Fights I would be up for Boxing after dark no problem. It is the old folks who have a problem staying up past 11 O'clock not the young people. Hell I hear a lot of old people have trouble working a remote control much less purchasing an APP - they will learn in time give time time. Put a product out there that people do not have to convince themselves it is worth it. Put a fight out there that people naturally gravitate towards like when you see two people on the street beating each other down it is natural to look human nature. Now the trick is with Professional Boxing is to put enough fights out there that catch the eye that are not overprices and make it so fights lead to fights and championships that matter. Enjoy the fights if they are enjoyable if not people will complain and feel like they wasted there time, but if a fight breaks out in the middle of the ring the people will have got the moneys worth.

Where I live, the gym is empty, but the football field is standing room only! I believe it's because lack of exposure! Most people I know will not let there 10 year old son to stay up until midnight, even on a Saturday! It's like Boxing has become a source of adult entertainment! Probably because people gather at fight parties, so they can split the cost! "I'll pay the $75 for the fight, you bring the chicken, you bring the beer, etc!" Lol!

they will not let there own kids fight in school anymore either -- it is looked down upoun maybe if they let boxing back in school they would have less disagreements settled with guns, it is a therory anyway. yea some of us grew up with Wild World of Sports and fights on the weekend right there just turn the channel. Sad part is Boxing is to blame for boxing not being main stream as much as anything else.

Count me as one of them! My son actually had less fights, once I put him Boxing! Problem was, once he did get into fights, schools made a bigger deal because he was a Boxer! I asked one principal, "Did my son start the fight?" She said "That's irrelevant, your son broke his nose," and they expelled him! I was pissed, and no, my son did not start the fight!
