Its so easy to see what it's all about, you are overthinking the whole thing placing your ideals onto somebody else, it's easy money doing what he loves to do, Manny is doing the same thing and you can bet that many more big names will follow if such easy money is there for them, I don't see anything wrong it's just a form of entertainment if people pay to see it that's for them to enjoy their night out if nobody buys the show doesn't go on.

With all the bad sht that's going on in this world, people want to judge a celebrity for putting on a show, their dials need adjusting.

I jumped the gun here by attaching other posters' comments to yours ( my bad) my post is directed at them not you.

We are in agreement. It’s all entertainment. One thing though, based on his global superstardom, Floyd should have had massive endorsements equivalent to guys like Kobe, Messi, Phelps etc.

This is one of the reasons that didn’t happen.

So Pacqiao vs the Korean YouTuber was a legit fight? What about the next 5 exhibition fights he’ll have?

Also, clearly you did not read the Joe Louis article - the guy made a lot of money AND people paid for them. Unless your definition of “scam” only applies to Floyd.

Can it at least be a guy who can find his stool at the end of the round

So much for being a senator and politics keeping him out the ring.

He's Floyd Mayweather. He doesn't need this fight to be recognized or known. He's making tens of millions of dollars to fight exhibitions and people are still hating? I don't even watch the fights, but I'm never gonna hate on these retired boxers who wants to make some easy money. People claim He's broke or going broke, but he found a way to make easy money and ya'll mad? No one on this forum would pass on that type of money if offered to them.

I think if anyone on this forum had a chance to do something and make 10 or 20 mil, you'd do it, no matter who didn't like it, or who had something to say about it. Hell, you'd probably all take it in the ass on PPV for that kinda $.
Having said all that, I'd never watch any of this type of BS, even when its free on youtube a day or two later. I just don't indulge in anything not boxing between two boxers. That's what I been watching since I was a baby and that's all I'm interested in. I'd much rather see Floyd in an exhibition against someone like Broner. I'd like to see Broner get paid and plus put real hands on Floyd, bust him in his mouth for real and see what happens after that. But that's why Floyd will play it safe with these non- boxers, because they can't touch him. Do an exhibition with Shawn Porter, let's see if he can butt f..k u like he did to Paulie Malignaggi. Do one with Ray Leonard since he whipped pop dukes ass. If he could beat both yall it would be like Jersey Joe Walcott knocking out Harold and Phil Johnson. Do something interesting for the sport that gave u all your wealth, instead of this type of bs. At a minimum, at least stop saying ur giving the fans what they want. What fans? That's a damned lie

Its going to be comedy when Floyd gets ktfo by a random punch from some nobody.
That will be the last image we have from his legacy.

                    The money is irrelevant.

He doesn’t need the money. There’s a famous saying: the richest man is not who has the most but he who needs the least.

Despite having so much, Mayweather clearly still needs the attention and limelight and is prepared to make a fool of himself to get it and that’s sad. He doesn’t need to do it but he does.
