I agree but he was ****** enough to agree it with little Benn and as you say Liam is 'sticking it 'to him as gaffer.

I'd rather see Smith vs GGG at 160.

I think the cut to 160 hurt him tbh. Surely no chance he could entertain going to 157. Eubank Sr was right when he said the cut to 157 was severely dangerous.

What’s the point his chin was biggest asset that drop in weight ruined him and so why fight the guy at a lower weight he might get done in 1 round. This is really bad management he never got a world title when they are plenty around. Liam go world title shot

Conor Benn would have destroyed junior if that chin is anything to go buy.

You know when fighters get unexpected knock outs like that, people kind of get carried away.

Yes Smith was fighting very well, and I think the fight was pretty much even skill for skill.

It was 2-1 to Eubank Junior going into the fourth round but? Liam Smith looked like he was the more posed, and efficient fighter. It definitely looked like a fight were he was going to come on strong as the fight progressed.

I don't think anybody can claim that Liam Smith dominated or beat up Chris Eubank Junior. The fight did not progress enough for Smith to win that kind of fight, and apart from the knock downs? I don't think he showed enough.

If the rematch happens, for me it has to happen at 160 pounds with no re-hydration clauses. Eubank Junior will have to accept all other demands from Smith 'Because this will be a rematch taken on principle, to get the win for Eubank Junior'.

Liam Smith is not going to be able to make demands vs Kell Brook, Golovkin or any other top fighter. So in negotiations, Team Eubank Junior do have that benefit etc.

Overall good performance from Smith, what impressed me most was? How educated and posed he was with his pressure fighting. Skill for skill you could definitely see that he has fought at a higher level.

Although Eubank Junior has actually fought more brutal and dangerous fighters overall.

I could pick out round about 5 fighters on Eubank Junior's resume, who he has won and lost against that would of beaten Liam Smith.

I have reflected on Liam Smith vs Chris Eubank Junior, and I just think? Smith done everything right. In preparation, and on fight night.

I also suspect, that the training camp and preparations Eubank Junior had for the Benn fight 'Have had a carry over effect for his fight vs Liam Smith'.

People must remember, Eubank Junior had to make 157 pounds. And on top of that, there was a apparent re-hydration clause which stipulated 'That Eubank Junior could not weigh anymore than 5 pounds over 157 pound weight limit on fight night'. So the maximum weight he could weigh was 162 pounds.

Chris Eubank Junior clearly adhered and would of made those stipulations for the Benn fight.

Eubank Junior throughout training camp, trained and sparred under that type of pressure 'And theorize that the trauma of that training camp, is why his durability suddenly seemed to decrease vs Smith'.

Smith does not hit with more punching power than, many of Eubank Junior's former opponents.

Regardless even if Eubank Junior durability was no effected. Liam Smith for me was looking like the more threatening fighter 'I also think skill for skill he was fighting better fight, seemed very posed and efficient'.

Totally with you. .....Surely another 8lbs on that big frame would have helped. He did 159lbs on the Friday before the Benn fight to show he could be down there , he looked dead and he would have still had to take it down 2lb more had that silly fight been allowed to happen. Eubank Sr was right.

Eubank would be a fool to cut down to 157 again.. big dummy.. he will never be able to take a punch again after cutting down to that absurd weight..

Eubank needs to fight at 168 pounds.. period big dummy

Everything great except for that 157 cw, really unnecessary tbh, beefy looked just great at mw limit. Eubank would get stopped again anyways.

If Eubank Jr forced the rematch clause, I think Smith would knock him out again.

A thought sprang to mind of a similar situation when Tony Bellew tko'd David Haye twice, in another all British clash.
