Since the Margarito fight cotto has had 2 fights.
1. jennings , got destroyed.
2.clottey. lost a split decision to cotto. which cotto didnt look his usual , but he looked better than a lot of people , he caught clottey very clean at times , backed him up at times. nd outboxed him. And lets not forget the 1st round KD WITH A JAB, even if he was unbalanced.
Now , how that **** do u come up with cotto being damaged goods. Clottey is considered a top ww. And if he knew how to capitalize he would prob. be Top 3.
Cotto dropped him in the 1st , fought with one eye since round 3 i think it was. wasnt able to destroy clottey like we r use to see cotto doing to his opponents , but he won more rounds , and most important he won round 11 and 12 , those are very important , and not everybody saw him wining round 10 , but some people did.
Now plz tell me other than clottey and marg. which fight has he looked bad.
Clottey is a hell of a fighter , and cotto wasnt scare to face him , clottey had the speed advantage , size advantage , reach advantage , height advantage , some people say cotto hits harder but i doubt he hits harder than clottey.And cotto went in there , and stole the fight from clottey , it was clotteys fight to take , and he robbed him , not the judges , cotto robbed him , thats why i respect him , he is very ****ing smart , and pac has speed , but thats about it , he better be careful.
