Liam Smith is very good and underrated

apart from getting robbed in Russia, his only losses are to Canelo and Munguia

For the Munguia fight, Smith had been out of the ring for a year and only arrived in the USA 4 days before the fight because of Visa reasons and that went 12 rounds. Maybe with better preparation it would’ve been much closer. Munguia is a weight bully too.

He would never beat Canelo, but even in that fight he didn’t do mich sparring because of a cut and didn’t wanna cancel the fight incase he lost out on the money. Not that it would’ve made a difference to the overall outcome. Canelo was a weight bully then too, it was when he ducked GGG, vacated the 160 and moved back down.

Anyway he only has 2 legit losses against 2 good fighters and without great preparation
