    Undisputed missed opportunities

In the 4 belt era, What are some past examples where 1 champion held 3 belts and missed the opportunity to have the undisputed fight with the fighter who had the 4th belt

Mayweather had 3 after Pac. Brook had IBF. Mayweather could easily have made that fight and won that fight but there was no mention of it. I know Brook wasn't a big US name but he fought Berto instead who wasn't exactly a big name himself. Missed opportunity for undisputed to go down on his resume

Canelo after Jacobs had 3 belts. Andrade had the 4th. Missed opportunity again more chance he could have been undisputed in 2 divisions whereas will be harder for him to do it at 175

AJ had 3 after Parker. Never fought Wilder who had the 4th belt. Another missed opportunity for what would have been a huge legacy fight and one of the biggest fights in heavyweight history. Still would be huge but not the same as a 2018 fight would have been

    Current opportunities
    Usyk (3) vs Fury (1)
    Beterbiev (3) vs Bivol (1)
    Spence (3) vs Crawford (1)

Bivol could take all of canelo's belts at 168 and beat beterbiev at 175 and be undisputed in two divisions at the same time, it will be impossible to really defend them all for long and he'd probably vacate 168 but it would be a cool thing to achieve. its very doable for him

Golovkin had an opportunity if he could have convinced BJS to get in the ring with him in 2016. He was elevated to full WBC Champion after Canelo famously vacated the title and the opportunity was there for GGG vs. BJS in the summer or fall of 2016 to unify.

They low balled Saunders. Said "life changing money" making it out like they offered $5 million which was actualy $1.5.

You guys fell hard for the HBO hype machine...

Canelo would beat the crap out of Bumdrade if IBF didn't wanna BS Derevyan fight before it. Kovalev was harder task and he provided his title in 4th division. Not bad.

I was thinking about that the other day. Or that it would be funny if he beats Canelo at 168 and then immediately vacates all the super middleweight belts

0 2x undisputed yet (in 4 belt era)

              Haney - 140
              Inoue - 122
              Usyk - 200+
              Crawford - 147
              Charlo - 160
              Canelo - 175

Which of these do you think will achieve it

And can you see any of these becoming undisputed in 3 divisions

                  Inoue has the best odds.

Andrade almost got Knocked out by Liam Williams... Held on for dear life in round 9 for like over a minute. Ref. Should of took points.
