Actually It was beefy one leading 2-1 at time stoppage ,i saw eubank taking the third only just for those clean uppers ,smith kept pressure on since start.

Ya I can see it both ways...pressure from smith with a few shots landed but not many...clean jabs and some flashy stuff from eubank

I was literally complaining to my gf who doesnt know or care that eubank looked way too much like jones for his own good.

Didn’t see that coming! I thought at best for Smith , he was going lose a controversial decision or something but never thought he could knock him out. I guess doing 2 weight cuts in the space of about three or four months has not helped Jr with his punch resistance.

That aside, I’ve always thought Liam Smith is criminally underrated. People say Callum is the best of the Smith brothers, but I’ve always said Liam is. I thought he won that fight in Russia. His only two legitimate losses are Canelo and Munguia. Even in the Munguia a fight, he had been out over a year and also got to America about four days before because of Visa problems and it went 12. And in the Canelo fight, he didn’t really spar because of a cut. Not saying he had a chance of winning against Canelo anyway obviously , but the reality is unless you’re a true world level fighter, you’re likely not going to beat him when he’s at his best.
