The second fight is a good match. Styles makes fights, and this particular match up of styles is great.
Bad matchup meaning his style is always going to give Pac trouble regardless of class. Many people though JMM won both fights.

Marquez said it himself that unlike Floyd, Pacquiao loves to fight. Manny is a fighter who loves to engage, who would never say no if you want to tear up.

I for one am a fan of close fights. Rivalry is good for the sports of boxing.

      Here are my favorite trilogies:

      1. Ali vs. Frazier - What thrilling fights, especially the Thrilla in Manila.

      2. Barrera vs. Morales - They literally hated each other.

      3. Gatti vs. Ward - Pure gut-wrenching hearts.

      4. Bowe vs Holyfield - The Phoenix bird as personified by Holyfield.

      5. Vasquez vs Marquez - Classic battles.

      Honorable mention:

      Pacquiao-Morales & Duran-De Jesus : Revenge is sweet.

Leonard vs. Duran: The great, the surreal, and the old.

        Many people are in denial.

I do agree that JMM gave Pac a lot of trouble,
which bodes well for PBF's chances against Manny.

Pac would tear Marquez apart @ 140. Marquez didn't look good at 135, he would look worse @ 140 but not as bad as he did @ 147! Pac has succesfully carried his speed and power up the weght whihc Marquez obviously hasn't.

Marquez should forget Pac and go back to his best weight which was 130, even Hatton would beat Marquez @ 140 and even I know thats a big call!!

I'd say at 135 and up Pac-man beats him. I've noticed after every jump up in weight, JMM loses a step.

                126-135 I would pick Marquez. 140-147 Pacquaio.

This doesn't make sense. JMM was 141 vs Pac in the rematch, 140 vs Diaz. Did you ever stop and think there was more to that than the weight class?

                    Stop over-analyzing things.

Marquez didn't move up divisions that well
Pac on the other hand looked great
                      140 Pac wins
135 downwards, Marquez edges it for me.
