Underrated? No, I don't think so.
      Overrated? Hell Yes

Look Berto lost to Collazo, fights pretty much nothing but Jr. Welters which is even more of a glaring advantage when you consider he spent nearly his entire amateur career as a middleweight. His pop has been way way overrated and his chin is suspect. He has flashy handspeed, I'll give him that. He is really getting annoying though with this, "look at me, I'm a star", mentality he has begun lately. It has gone to his head before he has even beaten a real WW. It's tough to watch. Here is to SSM ending this mirage of a WW champion.

Collazo is a real WW and Berto beat him. A win is a win. End of story.

Where's the loyalty and the type of fans of a fighter who have faith in their improvement?
When a fighter encourages the hype around him but doesnt meet the standards I quit being a fan, yes. Berto hasnt given Collazo a rematch and he hasnt fought half as much as he did before he won the vacant title. Aside from that he has done nothing to solidify a fight against the WW elite. You think its coincidence Mosleys using him as a back up opponent? Nothing to date has shown me Berto has improved, he's still open to straight shots and cant cope with pressure

As for other people I frankly dont give a ****, these are my standards

              still too green.

He once got Knockdown by Cosmo Rivera so expect if someone better and stronger what he would do.

If he fight Clottey and wins thing you could make this thread again other than that he still have alot to prove.

Beat juan urango takin the safe road, still think berto couldá koed him if he wanted too. People overrate fighters all the time but berto seems to be underrated big time and people will soon see that.
Have you any idea how foolish you sound with that comment? I don't know if you're trying to be funny or what but Collazo's fights with both Hatton and Berto were close and could have gone either way.

I don't think he's underrated. He's a solid fighter but nothing super special. Maybe it's just a case of him still being a bit green but I don't think he's that great. I like the guy, he's fast as hell and exciting to watch in the ring but he definitely has some things to work on before we can consider him elite.

yea ok ..... hatton lost to collazo, this dude was gettin nailed hangin on for dear life in the last few rounds, buzzed dizzy to hell wobbling around the ring holding. Now berto beat the breaks of collazo the last few rounds. Yes collazo made the fight close but u got to close out fights if u want a win. Berto closed it, collazo closed that hatton fight and shoulda got the w.
