You don't seem to understand the concept of war. Ukraine is "winning" by not losing to a supposed world power, that is Russia.

I lived in Ukraine and raised my family there. We came to America when ***** invaded Crimea. My ties to Ukraine are more than some book reading and casual news watching.

What's your logic? Are Brazilians Portuguese? Are people in India actually British?

Many empires overthrew, claimed, enslaved many native people groups. Does that forfeit their historical identity? Over time some groups have been able to gain recognition as a separate people, and as a country.

Also Usyk is born in Crimea which was annexed back in 2014 has he been outspoken about that prior to Feb 2022
