Marquez pride is severely damaged right now. This is pure bitterness.

y'all might not give Pac his props but even a blind man can see that Pac is much improved from when he fought Marquez last. if Marquez and Pac meet again, hopefully at 140, Pac will tear him to shreads and finish him within 6 rounds! Pac has carried his speed and power in the higher weight which Marquez obviously could not do, this was even proven at lightweight when he fought Diaz.
Marquez is and should stay at 135 max! i have alot of respect for Marquez and his ability but when it comes to climbing wieght divisions he just doesn't have it like Pac or mayweather.
IMO, Pac & mayweather would be an even fight cos you would have the best offensive fighter against the best defensive fighter with evenly matched speed. the difference would be who has more power and who can take the punishment?

"Mayweather makes Pac look ordinary"
Mayweathers style will nuetralize Pac's style and make Pac look bad plain and simple. But how can you deny Pac a fight with Floyd especially if Pac is to get past Cotto, and after all Pac has accomplished in the past 3 years.Pac has earned his chance to fight Floyd jr but the outcome will remain the same...Mayweather victory.

And don't see Pac running away from JMM in their two fights. By the way, backing and running are two different moves in the arena!

OK guys, let's get our facts straight... Manny Pacquiao struggled against Juan Manuel Marquez because Manny's attack-first mentality was well suited for Juan's pure counterpunching gameplan, and Marquez was a tad faster in Featherweight than at 142 (fight night, 148). Marquez struggled against Floyd Mayweather Jr. because he was forced to go on attack mode, plus he was obviously affected by the weight because he was just sooooo flat footed and can't even dodge Floyd's jab. On the other hand, we all know he is undefeated but let's not forget that Floyd has been tagged a lot of times by pressure fighters. JLCastillo will forever be etched in everyone's minds to have given Floyd the hardest time in the ring. Dela Hoya was doing quite well before he lost his stamina in the middle of the fight. Forget Hatton, pressure without skills is useless.
Having said that, Manny is much more comfortable fighting in the JWW/WW divisions compared to JMM. Pac is faster and more agile than Marquez. And Pac is a natural attacker compared to Marquez. So the fight between JMM and FMJ is really irrelevant to a fight between Pac and FMJ.
For the record, Floyd only wanted to beat Marquez so he can be considered on top of the pound for pound rankings without actually fighting the current pound for pound best fighter in Manny.
