HATTON WASNT SMALLER. You ****ing idiots show your naivete when you assume weight class means everything. Hatton consistently outweighs FLoyd at a lower class.

Mayweather wins a shut out against Pavlik, beats Mosley on a UD, beats Manny on a UD. stick anyone in with Mayweather and he will not lose.

Hatton consistently out-weighs most heavy-weights. he is probaly at same weight as Arreloa now.

If Mayweather were a real man he would gain 100lbs and revitalize the heavyweight division.

you seem as if your the only person with sense in this forum.to be truthful,I now want Mayweather to fight Pac,Mosley and Williams..am a massive Floyd fan and enjoy his brilliant skills in the ring.People say why does he not brawl and that he has no heart but hold on a minute,if you had no heart,1,you wouldnt be a gym rat and dedicated to your craft,2.you would not be a fighter full stop, and wouldnt dare get in the ring.and as for brawling, why should he,the sport is about hit and dont get hit..I am not saying people have to enjoy his style but you got to respect it..If I was a boxer,I would try last the longest in the sport to make the most money for my family without taking much punishment..after all thats the name of the bloody game..why you want him to brawl and get hurt if hes winning without getting hurt.some people are som dumb and defy logic..You blood suckers love it when people brawl..well Ali(The greatest)let people hit him and look where hes at now...so so sad.I know its a brutal sport but if you have the skill to avoid a rukus(brawl)and win and get the most money for your family, ask yourself this, wouldnt you do the same....Forget the put it all in the ring bulls***,what about your damn family..come on guys,I aint a nuthugger but lets be sensible..you got to respect the guy, brawler or not.
as fro fighting smaller guys, get out of here..apart from Hatton and Marquez who was much smaller than him?? and why do you not use that same excuse when he fought the bigger Delohoya,Corrales,Castillo,Hernandez...etc...
before you haters open your mouth put yourself in the boxers position please..He might be superman in the ring but they are human beings as well..I bet you'd love for Floyd to try and brawl and get knocked out cold..you would not care for his well being at all, you'd just be cussing him on the net but am sure the family would be gravely concerned..all am saying is boxers are human not machines and boxing is life and death at times so consider that..
anyway,I do hope Floyd fights,Pac,Cotto or mosley next,.
am done with this blood clart novel ive just written...lol.

I wouldn't say he fights only little guys. He has fought taller and heavier guys than him. He just doesn't fight prime Welterweight's.

I can't argue that fact for now but all am saying is now,he has to face them and I believe he will but all this nonsense about him being scared and all that is bull.I say judge him on his next few fights.cause I think he will fight Mosley or cotto next but am hoping for the pac fight or even better,Williams when he gets a bigger following,I think that is the fight that may secure his legacy if he fights him and wins.but we will see.

                  You're an idiot.
First off you dumb ass...Not one of these fighters has the reach advantage on floyd, which is the topic of this threat, Height and reach.

Corrales had a 70 inch reach. Ganero 72 inch reach, and jlc 69 inch reach.

Floy has a 72 inch reach too.

Maybe you idiots you and others on here, need to research before opening your dumbass mouths.

So tell me again which boxer has floyd faced who was:

                  Bigger
                  had the reach
                  was peak
                  and was a great fighter..

Floyd is a great pound per pound fighter. What we are saying is that he is not a Sugar Ray leonard type of fighter who fought all comers. He picks and chooses his opponents. At welterweight, he has not fought ANY of the top welters.

Keep in mind now days, the fighter does not have weigh in the same day. Thus most times they are fighting 10-15 pounds heavier than what they weighed in at. Thus Mayweather probably was fighting above 140 for most of his fights, putting him up there with a leoanrd hearns etc at welter, who had to weight in the day off, so they were much closer to the welter pound limit at fight time. Sure they would have replenished after weight in but not too much for fear of slowing down considerably, and cramping up.

Mayweather would not even dream of fighting these Welters, as he is too scared to fight these welters he has today. Could you imagine him fighting a peak tommy hearns at welter. He would get slaughtered.

Yeah, that's what it's going to take to satisfy all the critics.
