Margarito RUINED Cottos career

Gave Cotto such a beating with the plaster that Cotto has never been the same since then.

Cotto would still be the destroyer he once was right now if it weren't for Marg. He'd have had an easier time against Clottey. His sales would be better and he would have made tons more money if it weren't for Marg.

Cotto lost

-Fans (some casual ones)
-Money (He doesn't sell AS GOOD as he used to because he's not ultra destructive anymore)
- Confidence
- Performance
- His prime

Ughhhh its terrible. I can put more crap on that list above but I'm too lazy to write all the other things Cotto may have lost after Margarito screwed him over.

The worst part is, he can't sue. He can't get Margarito to give him back what Marg has stolen from him. He'll just have to live with the fact that some **** stole something from his entire boxing career and can't get it back.

Sad watching Cotto's HL. He was improved in the Margarito fight, he has been on the decline since. I remember watching his fight against Shane, stunned at how he vastly improved and saying to myself, "If this improvement keeps up, he may actally beat Floyd".

Lets wait until he is co-featuring FNF cards before we say that. Cotto still could prove to be the top ww in the world and maybe down the road the top draw in boxing. Lets not be so premature here, you act like his career is over already.....but it was a bad beating whether it was legit or not.

He fought twice , destroyed the guy he was supossed to destroy , and had a very hard fight against a top ww , these ppl r ****ing ****** , he won both. whats ur point , Thats what happens to any fighter that reaches the top of their divisions , they have harder fights , and more competitive ones , he has never dodge anybody , he always agrees , have to admire that. Always lets his promoter and the rest of the people do their work , he does the fighting. He is not on the decline. ****** as ppl man.
