Why are PBC/Tank/Haymon haters gloating over the 61,000 PPV buys for for Tank-Garcia?

Being a tune-up is what makes it worse. It should never have been a PPV fight. They deserve all of the mockery they have coming. It also shows that Tank is not a global boxing star, no one was paying to watch him fight a no-hoper. By the way, all the Tank fans were hyping Garcia prior to this fight as a dangerous opponent and a live dog. Stop the excuses.Comment

The fight was promoted as a TUNE-UP. Ryan Garcia Vs Gesta would have done the same numbers. But yeah keep gloating miserable detractors. Just know that Tank-Garcia broke the ALL TIME Capital One Arena ticket revenue earning over 5 mil at the gate! So put that in your pipe and smoke it.Comment

Im not part of the hate tank club but this clearly shows that the PPV model is dead, which is what Crawford was saying and everybody was clowning on him for it. Also supposedly Crawford did over 100k in ppv worldwide on that app. Not too shabbyComment

Over 14,000 tickets sold. Not sure the actual $ figure though.

Thanks for the info MEGS. I'll get with my sources and see what the official numbers in Omaha were that night.Comment

No problem. Also, I do find it hard to believe only 61k for Tank. I would think at least 100-150k. But again, I truly believe the ppv model is dying. So as surprisingly low these numbers are I'm not too surprised. if that makes senseComment
