Would a Arreola win be BAD for HW boxing?

    This is just speculation:

IF Arreola wins by a lucky punch (a big IF), would it be good or bad for the HW division? Does it bring fresh air and excitement, or would it be a further nail in the coffin of this division ("hey, an overweight bum wins the belt, the division is SOO s**tty").

    Your opinion?

depends where you mean. It would be bad for worldwide boxing as Vitali is far more famous and has a far huger following in Europe and Asia but I suppose it would be better for Mexican/American boxing as more fans would appreciate an American and Mexican heavyweight.

If he manages to win, it could bring some needed attention to the division, but that is a big 'if'.

Yes it would be terrible because the belt would get passed around between all of the other top HWs who are mediocre at best.....that is unless Wlad fights and beats Arreola.

I mean Wlad has more longevity left than Vitali most likely so in some regards it would be good because it would allow Wlad to unify all of the belts rather than both brothers sharing half each but at the same time it would make boxing look bad cus Arreola is a fat ****.

I like to watch Arreola fight...He has an exciting way of fighting. Crowd pleasing! I hope he knows if he does become champ he cant get lazy... Hopefully it will bring more money for him and he will be able to pay better health & fitness coaches. He said in a video the best part was when the fight is over and you get to drink a beer. WTF is that! He better learn how to drink water! Or Piss! If he becomes champ Wald wont like it ansd will be gunning for him. not to mention a lot of other HW wanting a shot! .... I hope he can bring it and keep on bringing it.!!!

New blood is what keeps boxing breathing. To have guys the age of Vitali, Hopkins, Jones, and Juan Manuel Marquez beating these young guys over and over. Granted Vitali SHOULD handle the pudgy man with ease and I don't think Arreola learns all that much in a victory here, and in the end that's whats going to help him become a real force in this division. Cristobal needs to learn how to take this sport and his career seriously, and if he continues to slide by as he has been doing, he won't amount to anything more than a fringe contender. I believe that won't change until he is humiliated, and Klitschko is the man to do it.

plus it'll cause a huge uproar and controversy if he beats Vitali cus Wlad will jump on him like they always do and will be a shoving match and Wlad will fight him next, setting up another blood feud that will have alot of fans watching.
