Last Friday, as reported at BoxingScene by Jake Donovan, Naoya Inoue made the expected announcement that he was heading toward his fourth weight class. Naoya Inoue's run at the 122 pound weight division title, will be interesting, entertaining, and exciting, if not altogether successful.
That doesn't mean that he won't be successful, it just means that he'll find it increasingly more difficult to be as successful as he was in the past.
That said they don't call him Godzilla, and Monster for nothing, if anyone has a better chance than most to win a fourth title in as many division, he does.

How did even a fighter like Crawford become undisputed at the lightweight division? Even Crawford! How many times did he defend his belts before moving up in weight? our black fighters are afraid of competition and that is a huge problem! are you afraid naoya is going to smash Stephen Fulton in just one round? oh yes Fulton will not survive one round with Naoya and that's why everyone of you writers are freaking out!

You spent most of your post degrading black fighters in order to uplift Inoue. You, my great sir, are an idiot.

Four pounds is not a big jump for a fighter of Inoue's talent, power and experience. His biggest problem will be getting these guys to fight him. Fulton will vacate and run to featherweight. Inoue will have to become the mandatory before Akhmadaliev faces him, and that could take a while. Inoue will need to be active, so one of those other guys named may be first if they truly are willing to face The Monster. They all say they want him, but........

Monster wins, he will struggle with fulton for a few rounds, the power and constant pressure will eventually chew fulton up, and spit him out.

Fulton is a sweet boxer with a good chin and stamina, but he's lacking one important element: POWER. When faced with an equally sweet boxer (though different) WITH lots of power, I have a hard time seeing Seth winning. I think it'll be close until it isn't.

Also the Monster never backs off, unless he is goading his opponents, he will deploy plenty of straight punches in hopefully a fight with fulton, Fulton a very good fighter so respect to him

I think Steph's a really good fighter with the potential to be great, but I've seen him look very, very vulnerable against Figeuroa. If he'd been in there with a killer like Inoue, it might have gotten really ugly for him.
