The Matchroom head suggested in a recent interview that he "would like" for London's Joshua Buatsi to take on Russian WBA titlist Dmitry Bivol in the spring. How's that. Beterbiev is fighting in 10 days - they could easily do a unification in late May or June and fight Canelo in the fall.

Winner of Buatsi vs Smith can fight winner of Russian pair or Yarde if he beats Beterbiev.

Buatsi should be the 3rd option for Bivol not the first.

seems that way but Bivol has said many times he wants to fight Artur and vice versa - and on other side Bob blocking the fight saying no way Artur can fight on DAZN - the problem here is Bob and Eddie
