Is he supposed to say otherwise? Of course he gonna stroke his fighters egos. Fact is Morell has beat nobody. Benavidez has a big fight upcoming. Best not to talk just yet.

Still waiting if he's more like Zurdo and Chavez Jr.

        Zurdo for the talk.

        Chavez Jr. For the partying.

Yeah Plant has better overall skills and much better corner team.

Dude looking way too far ahead.

Gonna be funny if he's a bigger version of Teo but at least Teo fought someone highly ranked and beat him.

I get better odds than only 2:1 I'm dropping $$$$ on Plant. Dude is barely favored against a Plant...

He's completely correct. Morrell might be the best in the division next to Benevidez.

Canelo is about to become to the younger generation what Mosley and Cotto were to him. Older fighters past their best who are used by the younger generation to hold their names. But in order for that to happen, canelo has to be willing, like Mosley and Cotto always were, to take those kinds of risks.

I don't see this fight taking place any time soon, at least not until late 2024, or early to mid 2025, Morrell will have 12-13 fight's by then.
Even though he's been matched with experienced fighter's with a combined record of 138-18-6 (74 KO's), Morrell still has only 8 fight's to date.
When they do fight some where later on in their career's, then we're going to have a fight to really talk about on our hands.
Name your poison David "El Bandera Roja" Benavidez combination punching, or David "Osvary Morrell" Morrell's punching power?
