Blind Pacquiao fans have redded me up.

Which is odd because I like - and have always liked - Pacquiao. I just call it as I see it.

If you say that Baldomir/Oscar/Hatton/JMM is ****ty competition for Floyd, then what are you saying about JMM/Diaz/Oscar/Hatton?

If you say that Floyd makes fighters move to odd weights, then what do you say about Oscar at 147 and Cotto at 145?

If Floyd isn't a draw because he doesn't sell out vs Marquez, then what are you saying when Pac doesn't sell out vs Oscar freakin' Delahoya?

These inconsistencies run rampant on this board.

Uhh, that was Tyson-Lewis(one of the highest-grossing PPVs in history). We're talkin' Franklin-Belfort in f**kin' Texas.

But, the facts are, UFC PPV#s generally perform better than that of boxing's. If it ain't Floyd-PAC-and De La Joto's name on it, the numbers are quite dismal.

It's funny that he mentions Dan Rafael. Since the rumors started that the PPV exceeded a million buys, I keep remembering Dan's dead serious vow in his last chat to shave his head and face, live on ESPN if permitted, if the fight sold a million. Let's see what he does.

Now, on one level, it does make sense, in that they'd have to deal only with GBP and not Top Rank- perhaps this is all he meant. But, and believe it or don't, I'm a Mosley fan more than I'd ever be a Pac fan, he can't really think Mosley is a bigger draw right now than Pac? It only amuses me because of the blatant contradiction. I would love to see Sugar Shane fight- I love that guy. He sadly isn't box office like I'd like him to be, though.
          Yeah I agree

UFC not only just got owned hard in the first ever direct showdown with boxing (2 simultaneous PPV's in the same night) but due to Dana White's ******* mistreatment of his fighters and worthless personality Rampage Jackson has just called it quits he's quitting UFC and he's one of UFC's biggest draws and one of their few remaining star powers.
What a joke UFC has become they'll probably be bankrupt and cancelled this time next year.
The numbers will come out. If not by dana, someone else will.

I think 103 will do a good number. I couldn't get a seat at the bar to watch the event because it was packed. There was a lot of packed places as well as positive feedback on showing the undercard on TV.

Even if UFC lose this petty rivalry you mcdojoists like to harp on, there's still positive results.

I do wish boxing would put up a competitive card against one of UFC's instead of taking potshots whenever they're in Europe or taking time to build talent.

So, you make an absolutist statement, and I point out the flaws. And later you want to retroactively put conditions around it.

              Yeah. Gotcha.

cmon...I like boxing over UFC but the card for UFC was very weak. This was one of boxings hyped up fights of the year with 24/7. Compare this to UFC 100 or something.

Not all boxing PPVs sell a million. And not all UFC sell a million either. but these 2 fights are a piss poor comparison

If they were confident in their sport winning this make believe rivalry. They'd demand a major fight to go up against Carwin/Lesnar instead of acting like an Affliction *** and pick on smaller shows.

                    Come'on

Victor Belfort is a UFC superstar that isn't even good.

Mayweather is a star, he may be hated but everybody knows him. Love him or hate him.

UFC is on his way to be a a great sport. Boxing is already great...

Both sports can be great at the same time.
