The fight will happen. Leave the PEDS at the front door though, no need for it. You aren't knocking out a eubank chin anyway. Outpointing eubank is the only proven way to beat eubanks

Exactly. Two of the biggest names in the sport right now have failed tests. Obviously hasn't hurt their careers too much. Unfortunately money talks.

Bellew always wanted the Haye fight going back to when they sparred in like 2006. I know Haye unlike Eubank was completely shot but I get a similar vibe about this fight. It’s like Liam knows something we don’t.
Yeah that’s the feeling I get, but then I guess Smith is 34 and probably looking for a big money fight too.

I actually think Liam Smith is really underrated. He’s not elite or anything but better than many give him credit for. He’s developed into a very crafty pressure fighter.

Jr is obviously the bigger man and has generally fought his best when fighters come onto him, so I think that could play in to his hands but on the flipside, I would say Smith is the best pressure fighter he’s faced, and if you ignore washed up names, Smith is easily in the top three fighters Eubank has fought with Groves and Saunders and those two beat Eubank. So there’s a question of levels, and even if Smith has a style that suits Eubank a bit, it doesn’t necessarily Eubank can deal with fighters around that level because he hasn’t before.

Interesting fight. But I think Eubank wins because I don’t think Smith is going to stop him and sky are hellbent on making Eubank the face of sky boxing and want him in some big title fights. so I think Smith is gonna need nine clear rounds to get a half a chance of getting a decision and he’s a slow starter usually, so I don’t see that happening.

Yeah I think this would undoubtedly be Eubank’s best win. DeGale was washed and Korobov blew his shoulder out.

You make a good point about the scorecards, I’m also worried Liam doesn’t get a fair shake. I see a lot of rounds being close and competitive too.

Good luck selling this now Eddie and Kalle.

Liam Smith has ruined your shameful plans to reschedule this joke of a fight!
